My investment property is in Hyde Park. I've had the property now with Walter & Irvine for going on to three years. They're always on the ball with any issue that comes up. They're actually in touch with me straight away, any time during the day, and they've always dealt with it very promptly. And I've been, yeah, quite impressed with the way that they've done that and that they've actually acted upon it so it doesn't become a bigger issue.
The other good thing in regards to them handling the bills, is that they always get in touch with you and give you a couple of quotes, not just one. But they chase out a couple of quotes, and then it's up to me to decide whether I wanna go ahead with it. So they give you those options.
We had some water leakage that was coming through to the second bedroom from the bathroom and they actually sent me photos to actually show me the damage that was being caused, and they had someone that could actually fix it for me, and I said, "Look. Please. Go ahead and do it."
And yeah, it was attended to. It was fixed. Yeah, rendered it, painted it. They sent me photos of the solution as well which is, I think, very good. So it's really good to be on top of it, and they are. I find they are.

I have three investment properties,which I've owned for approximately 15 years. I did have my property managed by 2 different companies before I ended up at Walter and Irvine. The first one, I left that one because there was just too much changeover of staff.
I didn't know who I was going to be talking to when I rang them and they just didn't seem to have a proper grasp on my property situation. I ended up moving from that first one to a second one, eventually that ended up the same way.
I thought of Walter and Irvine. I've been with them here for four years now with no problems. As far as rental increases go, I had a problem just last week with a couple of units. They recommended for me pretty much to maybe increase one slightly, the other keep the same.
Nine times out of ten, I'll just run with what they think and I think it's the best option. There are a number of my clients that are using Walter and Irvine for their property management needs.

Well, a colleague had also bought a property and rented it through Walter & Irvine. They gave the agents a glowing report, so we thought, "We'll go with them."
There was very little effort required on our friend's colleagues' behalf, and that's what we were really after. We don't want to have any hassle. We just want to let someone else manage the property.
When we bought the property with Walter & Irvine's help, on the day we got the keys, we organised an open. It was rented essentially that night.
The tenant’s price put on it at $395 and actually, the tenants offered slightly more. I think there were five or six offers on the night that the opens went through, so we were really pleased with that.
